Bent Paddle Brewing Co. is proud to say – we’re a one stop fun shop. With plenty of options for food, drink and play there is something for everyone. We pride ourselves in being a community space and go to great lengths to ensure every person (and pet) feels welcome and can enjoy the taproom to whatever capacity they like. Whether it’s grabbing some food, playing games, or enjoying the company of friends and family – Bent Paddle is a craft beer destination for all who live in, or visit Duluth, Minnesota. When we say there is something for everyone- we really mean it! We happily embrace families, people of all ages, and their pets. This means we are very pro bringing your kids to a brewery (as long as you keep an eye on ‘em). We’re also sure to provide spaces and activities to keep the kiddos entertained while “the old folks chat.” There is a fun hidey hole for kids to crawl inside and chill (Where? You’ll have to find out for yourself), a plethora of all-ages games from cribbage, connect four, foosball, and everything in-between. N/A options like root beer, Hop Stream sparkling hop water, cold press coffee, and kombucha are available for purchase and we offer free self-serve water so you are sure to stay hydrated!
Up next, pets! We love pets. Big ones, tall ones, small ones, and everything in-between. We do allow pets! We have a heated and covered patio space that provides a cozy winter space for you and your pets to hang out in the cooler months. When the warmer weather comes we invite you to enjoy our Yard space with your furry friends. Side note – if your pet is doing something cute we’d love for you to tag us on Instagram in a photo so we can see!
What could we be forgetting… food! We impress ourselves with the amount of options we provide. First off we sell a selection of curated bar snacks. But nearly every night, there are vendors in the taproom serving food or parked outside in their food truck – and they’re always delicious. However, if that’s not your style we provide a list of local food options available for pick-up or delivery right to the taproom!
Now, let’s get to the beer talk. We love beer and imagine you at least like it – otherwise you might not be here! We offer so many beers and often we introduce cool new variations that are either seasonal, or produced in our Pilot Brewery by our brewer Neil, who’s always coming up with cool new beers. Of course, we always keep our year-round and market specialty beers on tap. Let’s face it though, choices can be hard! We’re super into trying before you buy. If you have questions or need help picking out a beer, our certified beer tenders are incredibly knowledgeable about beer, its flavors, pours and styles, and can help you narrow down your choices. Or opt for a flight to try many small pours at once! We also provide canna options ranging from that are 100% Minnesota made, farmed, and produced. We offer delta 9 hemp-based THC sparkling beverages, mocktails, and gummies ranging from 5 milligrams to 10 milligrams for those 21+. Not sure about THC products? Some folks might not know the charitable nature of Bent Paddle Brewing Co., and that’s okay! But we’d love it if more people knew. We love to support our community and provide a space that is welcoming to all. One of the ways we support the community is through our Paddle It Forward initiative. Each month we choose local charities to benefit from our Round-Up program which allows taproom patrons to Round-Up their tab to donate to local charities. See, drinking beer can be more than just drinking beer!
In addition to supporting charities through taproom round-ups we also love hosting cool events from local businesses in the taproom, featuring a variety of food vendors, and showcasing local artists and musicians. We have live music often here on the Cosmic Stage! Musicians range from funky groovy music, to bluegrass, to jazz – you can always find an updated schedule of what’s coming to the taproom here. Aside from musicians we also feature other forms of art through our permanent art collection with paintings from local artist Adam Swanson and Richard Fryberger, photography by Max McGruder, and Macrame by Serena Follis. There are cool decorative and functional pieces by Jon Otis, and a very special paddle piece “by” brewery co-founder Bryon Tonnis – can you find it? While we like to hold on to our personal collection we do have items for sale from local artists in our gift shop!
There are so many more wonderful things that go on in our taproom, the Cann-A-Lounge, and production facility. You’ll just have to come and see for yourself.
