Hold my beer...K&B Grill Cheese is Here!

The Duluth News Tribune said it best - "This truck, the shape and color of a cut of sharp cheddar, takes the comfort food classic and swaps out Wonder Bread in favor of a homemade loaf. Kevin White, who owns the truck with his partner Breanna Emond, estimates that he makes 40-50 loaves of Italian bread per week.

  • Live Music: McNasty Brass Band

    6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Based in the Twin Cities, MN, McNasty Brass Band brings the Minneapolis sound to new territory by combining the spirit of New Orleans with elements of Prince, old school funk, and a splash of R&B. Since their debut EP release Southside Fridays in early 2015, McNasty Brass Band has been continuously writing music to push the limit of what a fully acoustic dance band can do. It’s their raw, organic brass sound that makes the music so infectious. A reckless, ten-piece megazord of horns and drums, McNasty Brass Band can blow the walls off a house party, march down the streets of a parade, or own the stage with the confidence of a well-oiled groove machine.

  • Live Music: Winzige Hosen

    7:45 pm - 8:30 pm

It’s Oktoberfest all year round with punk polka band Winzige Hosen, which in German translates to “tiny pants.” The band blends polka with 90s era-punk featuring fast tempos, heavy guitars, and three-part harmonies shared among an oom-pah tuba, accordion, and horn section. The raucous, dance-until-your-lederhosen-split party appears wherever the doppelbock flows. Winzige Hosen is Kala Moria on tuba, Eric Bong on bass, Leon Rohrbaugh on drums, Patrick Sunderland on trumpet, Luke Nyen and Abe Curran on guitars, and Brian Schanzenbach on vocals and accordion. The nonsense and absurdity is soon to be documented with Winzige Hosen’s upcoming plans for recording!

  • Live Music: Stardust Collective

    8:45 pm - 9:30 pm

The four-piece band Stardust Collective performs original songs that explore the outer reaches of rock through soaring harmonies and intricate melodies. Songwriters Aaron Tank and Eric Bong write lyrics aimed to raise spirits, raise awareness and raise the bar for human connection. The group’s textured sound is as big and bright as the northern lights. A typical Stardust Collective performance sees Tank and Bong swap between guitar and bass, while drummer Amy Ugstad builds a solid foundation for blast off. Shawna Weaver adds the extraterrestrial magic with her intuitive work on violin and keyboards.

  • Live Music: So What

    9:45 pm - 10:30 pm

Formerly known as The Groove Cat, So What is a four-piece blues rock band that blends jazz and funk with a bit of swagger. Performing soulful originals, they keep their lyrical storytelling deep yet digestible. The dueling rifts from guitarists Nick Stenstrup and Kaleb Montgomery are anchored by a rhythm section composed of bassist John Zmyslony and drummer Brian Pfeifer. Their powerful foot-tapping arrangements are influenced by artists like Dawes, Lake Street Dive, Jaco Pastorius, Flea, Frank Zappa, and Buddy Rich. After their Homegrown debut was postponed in 2025, the band is eager to make a statement with their music this year.

  • Live Music: Tin Can Gin

    2:30 pm - 3:30 pm

Tin Can Gin was born and brewed upon the shores of Lake Superior near Duluth by childhood pals Harrison Olk and Trevor Marrin. Along with mandolinist Bryan Nelson, the trio created the trademark TCG tunes that are fan favorites to this very day. In the autumn of 2011 the group was summoned to the stage at their first gig as "Tin Can Gin". As time passed the band added fiddle virtuoso Nori Schwenzfeier and Peter Whiteman on stand-up bass to round out the Tin Can Gin sound.

That unique sound draws from each members musical upbringing. Harrison's traditional bluegrass banjo, Trevor's creative song writing and guitar work, Bryan's fast folk pickin' mandolin, Pete’s solid bass backing all wrapped and complimented with a sprinkle of Nori's Celtic fiddle subtleties. The combination of music and vocal gymnastics creates an experience in sound that is sure to tickle your musical palate while you tap your toes in unbridled pleasure. This stew of music, vocals and melody explodes in a style as bitter and sweet as the best IPAs out there today.

  • Live Music: Boss Mama & The Jebberhooch

    3:30 pm - 4:30 pm

Singer, songwriter, guitarist and “Boss Mama” Colleen Myhre has connected with a loose band of hard-rocking desperados and dubbed them the Jebberhooch. Together, Boss Mama and the Jebberhooch put out dusty, dirty, gritty blues that rumble across the stage like a beat-up sedan over a Mississippi Delta dirt road. Their sound is a shake-and-baked helping of country soul, blood harmony and deep groove funkiness. This special batch of Festiversary Hooch includes folks from Hot Tamale Cosmos [Erin Aldridge, Jocelyn Mickelson, and Sonja Martin - also of Feeding Leroy] and Wetland Willows [Brooke & Caleb Anderson] Jeff Gilbertson and my son Saul Myhre.

  • Live Music: Kiss the Tiger

    5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

At a time when the world seems intent on pushing us further inward and further apart, Kiss the Tiger are here to rattle our bones and bust us out of our cocoons with some good old fashioned rock and roll. Fronted by the magnetic and disarming Meghan Kreidler, who draws on her background in theater to break the fourth wall between audience and band with her righteous fist pumps and high kicks, this is a band that doesn’t just play. They combust.

The genesis of Kiss the Tiger’s upcoming new album Infinite Love feels somewhat nebulous. Like much of their previous work, the band has evolved their creative output with no single defining starting point, but through the trials of artistic life on the road, at home, and everything in between. The nucleus of their enterprise lies in the dual songwriting efforts of now husband-and-wife Michael Anderson and Meghan Kreidler. In fact, the birth of the band begins almost simultaneously with the meeting of the two. Over the course of their 10-year partnership Anderson and Kreidler have fused their unique sensibilities and perspectives to create a world that neither of them could have dreamed without the other. Infinite Love was recorded throughout 2024 with their wedding wedged directly between sessions. And when it came down to naming the album – also the title of Track 8 on this 10-song collection – Infinite Love felt like the perfect synthesis of everything they’ve built so far, as well as the endless possibilities that exist when creating something with the one you love.

Over the past few years, Kiss the Tiger have set the Twin Cities ablaze, and there’s nary a club, block party, park amphitheater or backyard that they haven’t transformed with their commanding live shows. Kreidler is backed on stage by her longtime partner and creative foil, Michael Anderson, on rhythm guitar, plus lead guitarist Alex Sandberg, bassist Paul DeLong, drummer Alyse Emanuel, and keyboard player Isabella Dawis.

  • K&B Grilled Cheese Truck

    5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Hold my beer...K&B Grill Cheese is Here!

The Duluth News Tribune said it best - "This truck, the shape and color of a cut of sharp cheddar, takes the comfort food classic and swaps out Wonder Bread in favor of a homemade loaf. Kevin White, who owns the truck with his partner Breanna Emond, estimates that he makes 40-50 loaves of Italian bread per week.

The menu changes occasionally, and sandwiches range from traditional-ish (four cheese grilled cheese), to traditional-ish with protein, (buffalo chicken grilled cheese), to the ultimate in nuevo grilled cheese flavors (spinach artichoke)."
