Taproom + PILOT BREWERY
Come by our family-friendly neighborhood taproom! You’ll find delicious beers, N/A options, “canna” products, merch, fun games, food options, and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating for pets + people.
Our taproom features current Bent Paddle marketplace offerings as well as special taproom only releases. Enjoy our year-round beers, experimental versions of our year-round beers, small batch brews, taproom exclusive pilot beers, casks, side pours, and fun infusions! Looking for something different? We have Bent Paddle ∆9 THC “canna” beverages and gummies available to-go or for on-site consumption, and we’re sure to offer plenty of non-alcoholic options.
The taproom has plenty of indoor and outdoor space including a heated pet-friendly patio and The Yard – our large outdoor space with picnic tables, fire pits, and fun! Feel free to order food delivery to the taproom from a bevy of great local restaurants or check out our food pop-ups + trucks.
While you’re in, check out our retail shop featuring great Bent Paddle gear, gift cards, and curated items from local artists and businesses.
As part of our Paddle It Forward initiative we select 2 non-profit organizations to support each month! Help us support our local non-profits by rounding up your tab next time you get a beer in our taproom!
Get it to-go
We fill 64 oz. growlers and 25.4 oz aluminum crowlers of fresh beer to go during regular taproom hours until 10pm daily. Our standard refillable glass growlers are $5 and beer fills and refills start at $12. We also offer specialty Bent Paddle branded speciality growlers which make great gifts for you or a friend and are BWCA approved! You are also able to fill any branded or non-branded 64 oz. growler with Bent Paddle beer. We are unable to fill our Nitro beer in growlers.

Meet Neil Caron – he’s our award winning Pilot Brewer! Our Pilot Brewery is attached to our taproom and is responsible for designing new recipes, production techniques, ingredient trials as well as brewing beers that can only be found in our taproom.
Our Pilot Brewery is a 7bbl DME System that mimics our 30BBL Production brewery so that we are able to scale up our test recipes for production.

Where can we park?
We have a parking lot adjacent to our production facility at 1912 W Michigan St. The parking lot behind our taproom is owned and operated by the Enger Lofts and not available to our guests. Free street parking is available if our lot is full. Do not park in the Auto Zone dirt lot as you may be subject to their towing policy.
Handicap parking? We have two dedicated handicap space located on the left had side of our building with handicap ramp access to the Taproom
Can I park over night? While we all like a good parking lot camp site, our parking lot is used for large truck logistics the keep our Taproom and Brewery functioning.

Can we bring in outside food?
Absolutely, if the food you are bringing in was produced in a commercial kitchen (Restaurant, Grocery Store and pretty much any pre-packaged food is good to go) Sadly, this means you have to leave the crockpot home, and we know how hard that is. Check out a list of some of our favorite food delivery and pick-up options nearby!

Do you take reservations?
We do not take reservations; however, we do book private rentals. If you're concerned about space please know we have a very large space that can accommodate 250+ people inside and on our patio. For private rentals please contact us!

Do you have gluten free beer?
We do not make gluten free beer because... well, it's complicated; however, we do have a variety of gluten free options like Hop Stream, our Canna + THC beverages, kombucha, and sodas.

Can you fill non-Bent Paddle growlers?
Yes, if it designed for beer and 64oz and it can be sealed and is labeled with an alcohol warning we can find a way to fill it. Note, there may be exceptions to this, in which case, we have glass growlers available for purchase.

Do you offer growler credits/deposits?
While we don’t offer credits for growlers as once you purchase the glass, it’s yours. We do offer a reduced rate on fills, when filling your glass growlers. We will also happily re-cycle or re-use Bent Paddle growlers that you no longer use.

Is smoking allowed?
While we don’t allow smoking in our Taproom and grounds, we do have smoking receptacles located 20 feet from each entrance per Duluth city ordinance.
