The Duluth News Tribune said it best - "This truck, the shape and color of a cut of sharp cheddar, takes the comfort food classic and swaps out Wonder Bread in favor of a homemade loaf. Kevin White, who owns the truck with his partner Breanna Emond, estimates that he makes 40-50 loaves of Italian bread per week.

The menu changes occasionally, and sandwiches range from traditional-ish (four cheese grilled cheese), to traditional-ish with protein, (buffalo chicken grilled cheese), to the ultimate in nuevo grilled cheese flavors (spinach artichoke)."

Hot Tamale Cosmos is a group of artists from the Northland who have all had their own projects and successes and have come together over common love of song and harmonies. These women have performed in such groups as, and not limited to: Superior Siren, Danny Frank and the Smoky Gold, Boss Mama and the Jebberhooch, Ross Thorn Band, Junkyard Mule, Feeding Leroy and the Morris Park Singers. The women-led supergroup will be sharing original tunes as well as covers by artists such as Iris Dement, Bob Dylan and Gillian Welch. The Cosmos are Erin Aldridge, Colleen "Boss Mama" Myhre, Jocelyn Mickelsen, Jen Krussow and Sonja Martin.

Their rhythms may be a little bossy. Their drummers commanded me to feel Saucy. Another Duluth band that can hold a groove. The Bass lines funk and the bootys move. Some songs tell stories and others tell moods. They sing about friends and they sing about foods. With Improvisations both jarring and dreamy, one guitar clucks and the other ones creamy. Looking for a band to follow outta the fog? Well look no further than Saltydog.

Duluth-based northwoods funk jam band Saltydog consists of Jacob Mahon on guitar and vocals, drummer Owen “Owie”Mahon (who also does vocals), Sam Deters on guitar, Bryon “Lefty” Johnson on percussion, Calvin “Calzone” Lund on the Bass and Gavin St. Clair on the keys.

Coop and the Kooks is a surf, punk, and high-energy, old-school rock band based in Duluth, Minnesota. The trio is known for their energetic live performances across the Twin Ports area, frequently playing local venues and community music events.

Brooke and Caleb Anderson are the wife and husband duo who make up Wetland Willows. The pair creates a full sound, with Brooke on vocals, guitar, stomp box, and foot tambourine, while Caleb adds depth with piano basslines, melodies, and syncopated rhythms. Brooke’s songwriting features rich melodies, gospel undertones, and thoughtful lyrics, influenced by the sounds of New Orleans and Gypsy-folk. Before they decided to start a musical project between just the two of them, they performed with other bands. They’ve played together in the Holy Hootenanners, they sit in with Boss Mama & the Jebberhooch, and Brooke is half of the MinorBirds duo that’s also often supported by a full band including Caleb. Wetland Willows’ fun Americana sound contains a seasoned and soulful depth.

Thursday Board Game Night 🎲

Casual board gamers, seasoned strategists, and curious newcomers are all welcome!

Bring a favorite game to share, or just show up and learn something new. We play a wide mix—from classics like Catan, Risk, and Taboo to strategy favorites like Wyrmspan, Five Tribes, and Castles of Burgundy, plus plenty of lighter games like Codenames, Kingdomino, New York Zoo, and Point Salad.

Expect a relaxed, social night with games for all experience levels. We typically have 10–15 players, splitting into groups of 3–8 and mixing things up as games finish.

Can’t make it right at 6? No problem! Games usually run until around 8:30–9 PM, and new games start throughout the evening, so feel free to jump in whenever you arrive.

All ages welcome. The group is primarily adults, but high schoolers occasionally join us. Participants under 16 must be accompanied by a guardian.

Sister Veery is a Duluth-based electric folk rock band whose spacious sound blends electric piano and lilting vocal harmonies with an atmospheric band that will transport you to outer space and deep into your heart. Fronted by classically trained singer and pianist Molly Hilgenberg, Sister Veery brings together the talents of Shanna Willie on drums, Michael Geraci on bass, Chris Rourke on guitar, and Adeline Wright on vocals.

In 2025, Sister Veery released their debut full-length album, Cosmic Relevance, supported by an individual artist grant from the Arrowhead Regional Arts Council. Written over the course of a decade, the album draws inspiration from Hilgenberg’s years living among the redwoods and along the coast of Northern California, pairing expansive soundscapes with reflections on life’s bigger questions.

Opening for Sister Veery is beloved Duluth singer-songwriter Eldri Snow. Eldri is a radio host and champion of women in music through her programming on The North 103.3 FM.

Stella and the Lawless are a Northern Minnesota rock band blending alternative, grunge, and raw, guitar-driven songwriting. Influenced by the sounds of ’90s alternative rock, the band brings a mix of original music, gritty vocals, and melodic hooks, with a sound that’s equal parts heavy and offbeat.

Northern Minnesota rock vets, currently hailing from Minneapolis and Saint Paul, guitarist/vocalist Jozef Conaway and drummer/vocalist Curtis Kraft Mattson channel space rock atmospheres, sharp punk inspired beats, and lyrical curiosity. Their music, spacious yet taut, has drawn comparisons to Talking Heads for its rhythmic complexity and cerebral, dance friendly sensibility.

We’re celebrating the season of giving and supporting the nonprofits that keep our outdoor spaces, outdoor education, and human-powered adventures thriving.

Reconnect with friends, meet the organizations shaping our outdoor community, and enter to win some awesome outdoor equipment and gear while giving back!

Father Hennepin is an American alternative country band from Duluth, Minnesota. Since releasing the debut album "Crooked With Gin" in 2001, the band has been perennial headliners of the Homegrown Music Festival in Duluth.[1] Frontman Starfire is the founder of the Homegrown Music Festival,[2] pirate radio station Random Radio, and Perfect Duluth Day.[3] Father Hennepin is best known for their revival of the Moose Wallow Ramblers song written by John Berquist "I Like It in Duluth".

Sunhee’s Little Table is bringing authentic Korean flavors to Bent Paddle for a pop-up you won’t want to miss. Come grab a pint (or THC bev) and dig into some seriously good, made-from-scratch Korean comfort food.

Here’s a taste of what they’ll be serving up:

Bulgogi (불고기)
Thinly sliced beef marinated in a savory mix of soy sauce, garlic, sesame oil, and a touch of sweetness—then grilled to perfection. Rich, flavorful, and made for pairing with a cold beer.

Tteokbokki (떡볶이)
A Korean street food favorite featuring chewy rice cakes in a spicy-sweet chili sauce. Bold, comforting, and just the right amount of heat.
