Packaging Operator

Bent Paddle is seeking a hard-working go-getter to join our Packaging Crew. Someone with a positive team player attitude, good mechanical and troubleshooting skills. This position is full-time (38-40 hours) and is for our 2^nd shift working most weeks Mon thru Thurs from 10a-9p. This position does requires some flexibility to adjust to seasonal needs and/or equipment/process changes, that is the nature of a production environment. That means that occasionally the team may be required to shift a start time up by an hour or two or work some Fridays in order to meet the weeks production goals.

The packaging team works with a Wild Goose 5 head canning line and a Brewsky 100, with limited seasonal bottling. We package a variety of Bent Paddle craft beverages   beer plus our hemp derived cannabis, as well as contracted brand beverages.

 Position Description:

• Set up and breakdown of canning and kegging line
• Operate machinery: canning and kegging line, bottling line seasonally, and forklift (training and certification offered by BPBC)
• Palletize cases & kegs
• Work with production team on QA/QC to ensure high quality consistency product
• Equipment maintenance and ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues as well as perform preventative maintenance
• Coordinate and communicate with brewery team to ensure we are all paddling in the same direction
• Assist in tracking of weekly packaging materials product availability
• Stock, organize and maintain cleanliness of packaging equipment and stations
• Abide by all OSHA regulations
• Additional support of warehouse when needed: unloading/receiving shipments with proper reconciliation
